It was really cool to see how the nations celebrated New Years, I really like fireworks demonstrations.

As tradition we brought in the NEW YEAR - the following day Dinner Feast of Fried Fish, Black Eye-peas, array of Salads, Potatoe Salad and corn bread, Greens and Sweet potatoe pie. And old fashion German beer and hot teas. Yummieee!!! To get the New Year 2012 started.

For New Years, my Wife and I popped open a bottle of champagne and watched the ball drop in NYC. We stayed up until 3 am to watch the ball drop in California, then we went to bed.

YEAH....'My Mom was born/raised in Tuskegee, Alabama and my Dad born/raise in Idabell, Oklahoma. Their parents moved to the West-USA in the early 50's and they meant (High School Teen sweethearts) during their Education in High School. I quess they brought along all the Southern Cooking along w/them!!! Big smile. I miss them so..'their at rest now.
