Ronnie Montrose gone at 64 after battling cancer.
Another under-rated guitarist/musician has left us.
That great big all-star band in the sky is getting very heavy on talent!!

Ronnie Montrose was great ...remember Space Station #9 and
Jake did a cover of Rock Candy which was steller....I still have a Montrose
album in my basement....also his drummer Danny something ..went on to play with Heart in their Mid 80's come back....Heart is still rocking they are on tour 2012, a new CD and book.!

Correction on that Space Station #5 and Bad Moter Scooter......he will be missed

There is some pics and youtube videos as well. Looks like there will be a DVD release in the near future. Loved Montrose, great band. I was lucky enough to catch Ronnie join Sammy & The Wabos on stage a few years back.
