SLASH bassist Todd Kerns - who also fronts SIN CITY SINNERS when he's at home in Las Vegas, NV - has issued the following update as part of his most recent blog:

"I found myself at a top secret (until now) recording session for JAKE E LEE’s brand new solo album! I’m totally serious. Jake is the unsung hero of OZZY OSBOURNE. He played on Bark At The Moon and The Ultimate Sin before the world had heard of ZAKK WYLDE.

Mr. (Brent) Fitz and I play on a song from the forthcoming album. You can say you heard it here first.''

That's phenomenal news and good to know this awesome JAKE E. LEE album recording is "solid" securely underway: sounds like da Oge has himself another really heavy groovin' Rythym Music Section/Bassist TODD sounds really nice & picked wisely. JAKE always had that groovin' vibe w/his BADLANDS, WICKED ALLIANCE, BOURGEIOS PIGS and w/OZZY Band & HIS Solo Career. A Fine Pink Mist & Retraced are incrediable albums (all his music works & special projects are treasure Classics!!) As Todd said Jake E. Lee's new album "..is gonna be rad" and I bet it surely will. Awesome!!!
