Badlands or Wicked Alliace? Which is your favorite?

I know that both bands are like polar opposites, Yin and Yang, but they are both bands are great and the last stage of Jake.
In my preference I prefer Wicked Alliance for its prolixity, his musicality, and its dark sound.

Badlands all the way. I love Ray Gillen and really like Jake's bluesy style he did especially on the second album. I just wished they would have lasted longer.

It is all Badlands for me. While I have moved through many different types of music genres for my listening, I have always favored the more rockin blues type stuff. I had a short stint of the goth type doom music, but did not last long.

I don't know how many here actually got to see both bands play live but, there's really no comparison. All the songs WA played on the night I saw them were mostly covers or either Badlands-turned-WA tunes. That is, songs like Sun Red Sun ... safe riff, same melody, different lyrics. I can't tell you how many WA songs were knock-offs from Badlands or WWIII tunes. I doubt WA even had any original tunes that were written as a band together. Badlands all the way on this question.

Badlands of course. But I must say Mandy is a cool guy. I found him on facebook and he emailed me all the demos with Jake.

He emailed you all the demos??? Bloody hell...so are you going to share them with us. You do know that your going to get a ton of private messages asking for just that.

Its Badlands for me, they picked up the Led Zepplin legacy and ran with it right to the finish line. Saw Badlands once and stood 4 feet from Jake at the front of the crowd at a tiny club. My God what a night, what a band. I liked WA to, but if I had to make the choice its BADLANDS EVERY TIME.

They are most likely the same tunes that have been available online here and there in the past from WA. They are all demos. Never made it any further than that. I have them somewhere. I believe, I got them from somebody here several years back.

I'd be shocked if someone preferred WA of Badlands. Badlands by far. But it's just my opinion.

There different from night to day, two totally different spectrum of Music bands: that's like saying do you like "oranges or apples" or "cauliflower or boccolli" ...'I know each of us have a preferrence but to me I like BOTH!!! BADLANDS and WICKED ALLIANCE are both Solid bands and I love them both equally the same Peace.

I like both these bands because they were both good in very different ways. That is why you cannot compare the two. Different songs, different singers. Both has original material.
