Ahh, love it the da Oge JAKE E. LEE looks quite relaxed and at home in the music Studio, on stage (what "high-wire" energies Jake is blessed with) and above this new photo of him in the Music gear-supply Shops that customized and carry treasure guitars aplenty. Very nice pic of him.
Most likely a prototype. It was custom made for Jake, whoever did it. Maybe it was made by Charvel, but maybe it was just some shop luthier. If things take off for Jake, I could see Charvel, maybe putting these in to production. Look at the Fender Pawnshop series, they have all them strange pup configurations.
I think the fact charvel have it and him all over there facebook page makes it a safe bet its a charvel......it would be awesome to see a run done of them (they have been after jake for years to do one)...sadly they won't come cheap

even if they'll do a run, will it be commercially viable?
what would the price be and who would buy it?

I think if you base it on just internet forums it would be viable.......this forum has more members than both randy rhoads.tk and the ultimate rhoads combined and there have been 2 vary expensive rhoads guitars released that have sold (yes randy is more "known" than jake but then a jake guitar won't be $5000+)...also it would only be a small run of them most likely. Lets not forget jake was offered a run of sig models 3 or 4 years ago and turned it down (this was according to someone who deals closely with charvel)
I think a sig model would sell for the same price as a demartini so around $2.4k
so good just to see him. I had many chances over the years to build one that is not perfect to the original, so I think I'll keep on track and make one of my own, with the only change being a contour heel for easier access.
did I say how EXCELLENT it is to see Jake playing a white charvel again! wow.
