YEAH, I've noticed sometime back, don't know quite how I got there but it was a nice listing of schedule 2014 RDC Tour Concert dates on their Website: I try to figure out how I got there, again but THEIR certainly for sure on the Road going to kick-it live in Oklahoma (at the Lava in Owasso and the Chameleon Rm in Okalhoma City), Houston TX at the Concert Pub - North, DAllas, TX-a place called Trees, The Summit Whitesville, KY, etc.,. also The Dead Horse Cantina & Music Hall, in Pittsburgh PA, the Monsters of Rock Cruise-in Miami FL etc.,. the list goes onward. WOW!!! The big Kuwhona and his RDC are quite busy plus I heard/read that their on the cover of BURRN Magazine or their Featured in it!! That's a Classic vintage Music Magazine. High Wire all the way...'AWESOME!! :o 8)

I went. It was so much fun. Here are some shots that I took.

A couple of whiteys on the stand. He has three of them now. All are short scale, mahogany neck, jumbo frets 1-12, medium frets 13-22, ebony fretboard.

Setlist (it was 1/2 show, 1/2 QA)

The Ultimate Sin

Jake's strap fell off at the bottom (no straplocks on any of his guitars at the moment), and when Darren couldn't get it back on for him, he crouched down while his tech got it sorted.

Image

A little blurry, but I kinda like this one anyway:

Playing some slide with a little Jameson bottle during Rumblin' Train

Check out wear on back

"OLD COOT" label on the headstock. This was the first whitey that Charvel made him (and is the one that was pictured leaning against the amp):

Q/A session:

Here's the signature. I'm not normally a fan of that kinda thing, but it's Jake and I'm never getting rid of this.

I took some video, but the sound is so distorted from being so close the the speaker. I did see RDC a few days later in Dallas, though, and recorded the entire show. The audio is killer and I'll eventually post it. Here's a clip, though (video isn't as good as the audio)

I noticed when I saw him play that he had 3. So, yes, it appears to be 4 now.

It is, indeed, but it's not one of the newly released signature models. It was part of a 10pc custom shop run in 2007. Charvel (and Jackson) will not allow "artist similar" custom shop orders, so we had to order the guitar with some slight changes from the original whitey. The board is ebony as you mentioned, the nut width is 1 11/16 (whitey most likely would have been 1 5/8), the body is Alder (whitey is Ash), the pickup is a Duncan Custom, and they wouldn't allow the pickguard to have slanted singles. We did get the bullet truss rod and the old school bridge. When I got mine, I made a new guard for it, added pearloid tuning knobs, and made a Jake signature waterslide decal for the headstock.

Very cool. Had to be a great moment, meeting him. Looks like he has changed up his board a little, since some of the earlier shots. He received that signature overdrive pedal at NAMM and still has it onboard, must be a dandy.

Heart embracing and great treasure moments at the LAVA Cable Show & Clinic with Rebel Musician JAKE E. LEE: very cool, down to Earth Trailblazer legend. How cool he shared with up and coming Musicians/Fans his Signature Writing Trademark to the Classic BATM song. It's a Spellbinding twister Classic through n through as is The Ultimate Sin, Killer of Giants, Centre of Eternity, High Wire, Winter's Call, The Last Time, Rumblin' Train, The Rust, I Magnify, etc.,. JAKE E. LEE is a Classy-Showstopper Blue's/Heavy-Classic Rock N Roller. And his new Grooves "Deceived" "War Machine" & "Shout It OUt" are "amazing" Heavy-catchy filled with life, energy and grit, as well. Thanks for sharing. GREAT pix above!!
