Help needed petition Jake to be Rolling Stone cover story

I started a petition to try to make this happen. Stone is all about the numbers so we need everybody's help to make this happen. Some are saying fk Stone but if Jake gets RS, then all other publications will want him too. Please sign, comment, share. The man deserves recognition for all of his contributions to music. I'm just using Rolling Stone to" challenge the establishment" if you will. If we can get 100K signatures Jake can have any publication he wants. I let Jake's people know about this when I started. I was thanked. If they had said, thanks but no thanks, I'd ended it. It's about Jake not the publication.

May 26, 2015 — Sheryl…the enthusiasm from the fanbase is appreciated, and we’ve certainly supported Jake throughout his entire career, but there are many factors involved when it comes to picking our cover subjects, and 400 signatures on a petition just isn’t one of them unfortunately. I wish it were that easy…to give covers based on signatures and to those artists who are “deserving,” but those factors don’t necessarily line up with this being a business.

I signed the petition earlier today - I hope this happens, because Jake really deserves the recognition for his music. At least 90% of guitarists today owe him a thing or two, especially when it comes to stage presence and playing (myself included)!
