Postby kt88 » Mon Jun 12, 2006 1:35 pm

Hey JEL fans -

I'm new to the board, and I was wondering if Jake E has any instructional videos...none show up from searching...

Thanks!

there could be a reason for that ;)

more seriously .. I have never heard of a instruction video with Jake
and if there was one it would've appeared here a long time ago.

it would've been cool to see a Jake style video, if not with Jake, with
Wolf Marshall

The Video was Bought for Me...I'm a Singer, when my Band Split due to a Perfectionist Guitar player!(a trait I Believe!) I was Given the video by my drummer as I made a Comment that I was going to play the guitar parts myself..or get Jake E lee to do it..it was a joke..but I did benefit from the tape.being inept..in lead playing..my guitarist and I had been in 3 bands together..so I never needed to learn lead guitar much other than for ideas!
I'm not a Natural guitarist, competant but not Jake nor John Sykes

I haven't. The only way I got better was to play with other people...

If anybody could pull that off it would be Wolf Marshall maybe even Doug Marks ( the founder of Metal Method)!!

I believe the only way someone wouldn't get better from a tape, book, or lesson is because they didn't find the material relevant or didn't practice...
