What gear did Jake used on Retraced?

Sounds like a guitar (ESP?) straight into a Marshall, with probably just an OD-1.

Any ideas? The sound on "Creeping" is probably one of the best guitar sounds of all time.

I think if im correct he used Deansolos personally designed fuzzbox in his lineup of gear!

i remember reading something about a Soldano as well
a Soldano they pulled tubes from to bring it down to 50 watt
or something

uhm ... he used the X-tone and one with just a SD SH-4(JB)

Check the September '05 interview with Jake in the interviews section. Jake goes into detail about what gear he used on "Retraced." Guitars, Amps, Pedals, ect.ect.
Yes it was one of Dean's Mista' Fuzz pedals and a Soldano SLO 100 minus 2 tubes to cut the power down to 50 watts through a Marshall 1 * 12. Lots of guitars.
