Happy belated Birthday Mr Gillen Born on July 12th 1960 Ray Gillen fronted an incarnation of Black Sabbath briefly before joining Jake.e.lee , Greg Chaison and Eric Singer to form Badlands and put out two kick ass albums ( 3 i guess Dusk was ok ) before leaving the band. Ray can be heard on various comilations and The Sun Red Sun Project ( which i am listening to now ). Ray succumbed to complications fron the Aids virus and passed away in 1993 sadly.
I think RAY was born in May 1960 not July...'sorry if I'm wrong but I do believe it was May of his birth and his passing was in the month of December 1991. Rest in sweet harmony Bayou/Hard Rock Vocalist Ray Gillen from the BADLANDS and I'm sure "all" the Spirits In the Sky are Rocking it out on each of their Birthdays! Godbless and much respects.
