Handsome musician-Vocalist John West (reat voice, too) he did a pretty cool job w/BADLANDS for a little while taking on the reigns as Frontman when original Frontman/and Co-Founder BADLANDS Vocalist Ray GILLEN was ill. Much respects, they both have a-m-a-z-i-n-g Vocals yet feel that Mr. GILLEN definately has a wider range-skill.

Was never aware of this guy. I will have to find what he has out there. Very curious to hear what he sounds like. That would be some tuff shoes to fill.

He/John West has a beautiful strong Vocals, also and yes he did have some mighty heavy shoes to fill (and did a great job): for the original Frontman & Co-Founder of BADLANDS Ray Gillen (may he rest in peace) certainly has a strong unique Vocalizing sound & style filled w/blood, sweet & tears. Much respects!!macheted01 wrote:Was never aware of this guy. I will have to find what he has out there. Very curious to hear what he sounds like. That would be some tuff shoes to fill.

I found this on youtube, it's not John West singing a Badlands tune, but you can get an idea of what he sounds like here:

Re: Some of Badlands with John West?
Did he actually ever end up singing for Badlands? From what I remember and from what I've read, I thought Ray ended up finishing the UK dates that were going to use West on. But I very well could be wrong.
