I've Just Sold My Charvel Predator and Charvel Spectrum Jeff Beck Model, in the hope that I can Purchase the above...anyone encounters these please..forward me the details.

'cause GMW is probably the cheapest way to go if you don't want to
import an expensive ESP. Other wise you could by a stratbody and have the neck custommade or something.

if you go with a custom body and neck go USA customs or Warmoth
there is a reason why GMW is cheep latley I have had to send three bodies back in the last year because the quality has been poor.


As for ESP if you Order one now youll see it in about a year there is a back log of orders and the jake will be a custom order from Japan only!
the US shop doesnt even make many axes any more unless you are George Lynch or someone with alot of pull.

I was told by a sales rep from ESP last week that there is a back order of the Micheal Wilton models now that is 2 years long now.

Its been like that with Esp for about a year now the other rout for you is get a nice used Strat with a rose wood fret bourd and a white body and build around that I know a dozen guys who have done that and all of them turned out well but make sure its a hard tail fender.
The Big apple strat are great for this because they are already routed for
everything.
and you can get replacement 70's style bullets from fender now as well and all parts has the Badass and schaler bridges and tuners
All parts makes all the bodies and necks for the mex fenders.

and of course there is Ebay buyt thats a Buyer beware .

I have played one at Sam Ash they sound Great and are full of tone . The one I played also had really low action it is really a Multi tasck guitar like a paul without the 5000$ price tage the one I played was only 899.99 and I am still thinking about getting one . and if you looking for a Jake model there are three now on Ebay one is up to 799.99 so at least we know of one place to get a Jake as long as you can trust the seller. I wouldnt unless it was Jimmi or Jeff .but thats just me!!!!!
