Warren DeMartini and Jake E. Lee Wow Fans in Japan
Posted on November 20th, 2013 by MDuffy
Hundreds of fans in Japan were recently treated to a rare meeting of rock royalty, as the legendary Warren DeMartini and Jake E. Lee came together for a series of clinics in Osaka and Tokyo.
In each location, DeMartini and Lee participated in two clinics per day – one for area dealers and one for fans.
During the clinics, DeMartini and Lee shared stories from their days living in a house together in Los Angeles, writing some of their bigger riffs – such as DeMartini’s “Round and Round” with RATT and Lee’s “Bark at the Moon” with Ozzy Osbourne – under the same roof.
Then, as a special treat, the guitarists demonstrated what being that room would have sounded like, playing both songs at the same time.
Check out more pictures from the event here.
there are photos
did i quick look for vid but did not see any
here is the link

Re: jake and warren
Jake and Warren are still friends, but I know Warren had a hard time getting hold of him for quite a while, years in fact.
When I was 17, I was lucky enough to meet Warren at a gig. Me and a pal went to see RATT and they put on a great show. Afterwards, we waited outside just in case any of the band came out. Within 5 minutes of coming off-stage, they were signing autographs and posing for photos. At the time, I didn't have a RATT shirt, despite being a fan, so I wore my JakeELee.com shirt. I went up and got a photo with Warren then showed him my shirt. Warren absolutely loved it, he told me that he had been e-mailing Jake and they'd been somewhat talking but every so often Jake would just stop replying and then it'd be another few months till he replied. He spent a good hour telling me and everyone around me some cool stories about him and Jake and how they learnt a lot from each other and this flat they used to live in. Anyway, while I was standing there, he tells the tour roadie or something to go get this digital camera off the bus. He takes a photo of me in my shirt and says I'm going to email Jake this with the line "The UK wants you back, the world wants you back Jake". Which is awesome.
I must admit, I've only met a few bands, but the guys out of RATT are some of the nicest people on the planet. Even Pearcy, who has a reputation of being a dickhead was pretty friendly, although I spent most my time talking to Warren and Bobby Blotzer who was very inebriated and buying people pints from the bar lol!!
