A few years back, I bought a Jake E Lee model ESP. The headstock has Jake's signature on the left, with a small ESP logo to the right of the signature.
I'm guessing this is the generic production model, as the models Jake used live tended to have the ESP logo towards the left.
Has anyone ever played both? Any difference in attributes, e.g. tone, action, build quality?

If you want to sell it I'll Buy it!
Re: ESP SEJ-250
Actually, I have no plans to sell it.
I was just wondering if the production model differed appreciably from the customs that Jake actually used.

Well, I own one of Jakes Customs (made for and owned by Jake), the difference is night and day from the producttion models.Different bridge, different pickups, ect....
Mine is a one piece Mahogony that weighs a ton, I believe the production models were alder, although I may be wrong about that.I know they are significantly less heavy.
Still, those Jakes are killer guitars and It seems they only come around when I am broke, lol.
