Thanks, lots of trial and error and practice! Also, the right tools and equipment make it much easier :lol: Oh, and a little bit of luck thrown in for good measure too! :D

i'll probably go the DIY-route though(again :P) ...

Thanks, I was on a roll last year building and restoring guitars :D The SG Junior is one of my favorites.

i know Jake didn't use his on the road(too fragile),
but I can't help wondering if he used it for recording ?

That's a good question. I can see it being fragile. The neck is super skinny. They were originally marketed by Gibson as a "Student" model. So, they were primarily for people with small hands. It's a shredder neck for me though and I have large hands :lol:
