Re: RATT
Ahhhh.....NO! I like RATT N Roll, but I'm happy with the direction that Jake took. Warren DeMartini is a great guitarist in his element as well.

Fret, do you wish that Jake had went on with the band even after Ray passed away?Fretman wrote:NO...he should have stayed in Badlands.
It could've been done, but I was wondering how you or anyone else felt about the subject.
Re: RATT
He didn't have to call it Badlands, that would be hard without Ray, but he could have continued down that same musical path.PoetsandMadmen wrote:Fret, do you wish that Jake had went on with the band even after Ray passed away?Fretman wrote:NO...he should have stayed in Badlands.

Hahaha! My music hasn't survived any era, and I'm not sure if Badlands would have made it through either. Being a top-notch musician is certainly looked down upon in the post-Nirvana era here in the US. Badlands had a big following in Japan and could probably have had decent sales in non-US markets had they continued, but who knows? Either way, we would all have more good Jake music to listen to, even if we had to pay import prices.Deansolo wrote:Uncle Fretty, Do you think that your.....er...Badlands music could have survived in the post-Nirvana era?

I agree. Actually, I think Badlands could've continued too, but the band would have had to be careful with Ray's replacement. Nobody can actually replace Ray, but they could've found a competant singer.Fretman wrote:Hahaha! My music hasn't survived any era, and I'm not sure if Badlands would have made it through either.
