Ahhhh.....NO! I like RATT N Roll, but I'm happy with the direction that Jake took. Warren DeMartini is a great guitarist in his element as well.

Fret, do you wish that Jake had went on with the band even after Ray passed away?

It could've been done, but I was wondering how you or anyone else felt about the subject.

it could've worked, but Ray was part of a 2-part core in Badlands :)

He didn't have to call it Badlands, that would be hard without Ray, but he could have continued down that same musical path.

Hahaha! My music hasn't survived any era, and I'm not sure if Badlands would have made it through either. Being a top-notch musician is certainly looked down upon in the post-Nirvana era here in the US. Badlands had a big following in Japan and could probably have had decent sales in non-US markets had they continued, but who knows? Either way, we would all have more good Jake music to listen to, even if we had to pay import prices.

I agree. Actually, I think Badlands could've continued too, but the band would have had to be careful with Ray's replacement. Nobody can actually replace Ray, but they could've found a competant singer.
